KaarbonTech
We are delighted to be named as winners of this prestigious award, and We are proud to see our innovative ‘Gully SMART’ software being acknowledged for the results that it is delivering for our customers.”
Mark Entwistle, Managing Director of KaarbonTech

About Gully Smart
The Award recognised the reduced flood risk, cost and efficiency savings achieved by Walsall Council. This was achieved as a result of using the ‘Gully SMART’ software.
Advanced design of ‘Gully SMART’ enables highways teams to combine the use of geographic location data with environmental data sets. Such as flood zones and therefore this enables you to put in proactive management strategies.
Planned cyclical maintenance programmes are reducing the risk of properties flooding in periods of heavy rainfall. Improved highways drainage is increasing safety of all road users and reducing risk of accidents caused by water on the road.
The award judges recognised that ‘Gully SMART’ also delivered improvements in work productivity. On an average working day of 8 hours teams can complete 9 emergency gully clean outs. However, proactive planned cyclical cleaning using the ‘Gully SMART’ system enables 145 cleans to be completed within the same working day.
