Harnessing new technology to transform tree management

KaarbonTech Live Tree SMART is a data and technology-led, interactive workshop. We'll be looking at how to get the best out of freely available geospatial data to improve the management of trees. We've invited industry experts to share ideas, new ways of working and how to tackle the common problems local authorities come across.
What's in store?

Presentations by industry experts, roundtable discussions with local authority managers and interactive polls, as well as a chance to chat with those that manage trees across the country.

The use of IoT in the industry for tree management, cost neutral tree planting, procuring and managing contractors efficiently, managing ash dieback, automation and creating a digital service, mechanisms for landowner engagement and managing large tree networks efficiently

How we can utilise data better, technological developments that have improved the industry, smarter ways to manage tree planting, how to improve cyclical planning, benefits and drawbacks of different risk approaches
