Provides a comprehensive reporting tool to monitor contractor performance. This reporting system also includes the ability to monitor and identify when a gully may not have been cleaned, but the contractual obligations have been fulfilled. A clear graphical dashboard provides an easy to digest timeline of events that can be viewed at a glance.
Uses multiple spatial, historical and usage factors to calculate vulnerability and importance of assets. The scores then populate a risk matrix to allow easier programming within Gully SMART. Models can be run by individual asset or road sections, then stored and compared.
Allows coded CCTV survey videos and defect reports to be added to the channels that have been surveyed using WinCan software. The resulting information is viewed on the map interface and the video viewed in the browser and via the app, ensuring this valuable data is in an easy to find location.
Any tree plotted in our Tree SMART software is automatically classified by its deciduous nature and passed to the gully system. You can then use the filters within the Gully SMART reports to identify gullies in the vicinity of a deciduous tree. This provides a guide for monitoring and assessing the risk of leaf fall leading to drainage blockages and flooding issues.
The addition of this module is a very powerful tool for field crews, allowing them to visualise where combined sewers and drains are located, to save time identifying real blockages from other drainage. We also allow connectivity between local authority and water authority assets in the office and retain unique identifiers so referral to the water authority is seamless, reducing maintenance costs and improving rectification times.
These are customisable shapes that can be drawn in the office or field application to represent traffic management zones, leaflet drop areas, prioritised cleansing, local wet spots, and the like.
This module ensures that a crew marking a gully as ‘not operational’ will be required to choose from a list of defects (and required to take a photo and leave additional notes, if necessary) for each one. These defects can be attached to a simple schedule of rates to provide financial data to help understand the cost of rectification. Service request reporting allows for easy viewing of all open, fulfilled, or abandoned defects, along with easy work package creation for crews to carry out the repairs.
We integrate open-source sensor data from the Environment Agency’s 1,000 rainfall sensors. Historic rainfall is populated into the closest plotted drainage asset with a distance and link to the information source. Where council owned gully sensors are in use, both rainfall and silt levels are displayed on the same graph to help compare results.
Integrating Gully SMART with corporate systems is at the heart of our solutions. We have successfully interfaced with Confirm, Alloy, ESRI and WDM, to name a few.
We provide advisory and analytical services to assist our customers with programme creation, funding calls, taking risk-based approaches to maintenance, improving internal communication, and managing subcontractors.
We provide gully condition and silt surveying to enable a risk-based approach to maintenance. We demonstrated through surveying over 1,000,000 gullies across the UK, that a ‘survey first’ approach can be cost neutral. As the cost of surveying is a fraction of the clean price, this approach eliminates a large number of empty gullies that don’t require cleaning, to allow an efficient programme to be produced, targeting areas where cleaning is actually needed.
We can also target hotspot areas to perform full drainage connectivity surveys. Analysing spatial datasets of condition, known flooding hotspots or other areas of concern, we risk profile areas of most risk and collect location, dimension and condition data for manholes, catchpits, ditches and more. We produce connectivity surveys efficiently, without entering manholes or utilising traffic management. These surveys collect the right balance of detail vs investment, provide data to support funding calls, prioritise CCTV pipeline surveys and improve proactive maintenance.
We can provide an independent physical gully auditing service of those recently cleaned to record the maintenance standard. The audit inspection is added to the gully asset record, viewed in audit reports within Gully SMART and can be used within Key Performance Indicators. We have documented evidence of gully crews providing a better cleansing service after deploying auditing.
