My name is Phil Hyatt and I am an Arboricultural Technical Specialist at KaarbonTech. So I got into Arboriculture at 18, but I was good with tools with my hands.
I joined Bracknell Forest Borough Council as an apprentice and once I got that rope and harness and I was swinging around trees I haven't looked back.
Before I joined KaarbonTech I worked for Glendale Managed Services as an Arboricultural General Manager was there for 9.5 years managing and looking after all the arboricultural works and teams across the south of the UK.
Highlights of working in KaarbonTech is meeting new people with the same sort of mindset of ideas and how to drive change within the arboricultural industry for the better. I bring 25 years of experience in the arboriculture industry, managing and delivering arboriculture. I've got an understanding of what the contractor needs, what the contractor requires to deliver work. I can bring that into KaarbonTech to develop a system that everybody's gonna want to use.
If I hadn't followed this career path, I don't know where I'd be, but as a child I'd love dogs and I always wanted to be a police dog handler. I'm a keen carp fisherman. I have been since I was little travel all over Europe in hunt of Monster Carp. I just love being outdoors, being with nature, switching off from the world and, and listening to the birds.
I don't mind pineapple on pizza. Um, I can take it or leave it. I'd like us to be the number one go-to company in the software market, especially in the arboriculture sector."
