I think video content is an integral part of any business today. My name's Andy Jeffress and I am the content creator for KaarbonTech. I think what I bring to the company is an industry that's very data and logistically led. I think I bring a kind of outside perspective that is a bit more visceral. A typical day for me in KaarbonTech is the creation of the video tutorials. In the morning I record the voiceover and then I spend the afternoon animating the tutorial together. I might be doing that one day, next day I'll be out shooting a live action video. I think I'd love to achieve making KaarbonTech a household name. We're pretty well known in our sector and our industry, but outside of that, people don't really know what we are and what we do. And I'd love to be part of the creation, making KaarbonTech a well-known tech company. You know, people see the KaarbonTech logo and they think and they feel something. I think the highlight of working at KaarbonTech has to be the events that we do. We all work so hard together to produce these events, and then when they all come together, it's a real sense of achievement, something I feel very proud to be a part of. So outside of work, I'm a pretty keen rugby player. I play for a local team called East Dorset Dockers, so you can find me down there most weekends playing rugby. I love jazz music because it's off melody. It doesn't follow contemporary rules, and I like that. So something that might surprise people about me is that I once spent a year in South Korea teaching English as a foreign language. If you gave me a winning lottery ticket, I would buy a ticket to New Orleans.
Introducing Andy Jeffress, Content Creator
From voiceovers to live filming, Andy is behind the lens bringing KaarbonTech’s work to life through engaging video content.
A Creative Voice in a Data-Driven World
Andy joined KaarbonTech in 2022 with a BA (Hons) in Film Studies and Cinema Technologies, plus years of hands-on experience in corporate event production and video storytelling. Now, as our in-house Content Creator, he brings a fresh, more visceral perspective to a business and sector largely led by data and logistics.
Bringing the Brand to Life
Andy’s role is rooted in variety. One day, he’s recording voiceovers and animating tutorials; the next, he’s on-site filming a live event or case study. Whether it’s simplifying complex technical features or capturing the energy of a live workshop, Andy makes sure our story is told in a way that’s clear, compelling and human.
Making a Mark
For Andy, the events we host are a real highlight. He’s proud of the collaborative energy that goes into them — and how video plays a key role in both telling those stories and extending their impact long after the event ends.
Longer term, he’d love to help shape KaarbonTech into a brand that’s not just recognised in the sector, but remembered — a name and a logo that evoke real value, real innovation, and real impact.
Life Outside the Edit Suite
Outside of work, Andy’s usually found on the rugby pitch playing for East Dorset Dockers. He’s a fan of jazz (for its unpredictability), and once spent a year in South Korea teaching English. Given the chance, he’d happily jet off to New Orleans — ideally with a camera in hand.
In Andy’s Words:
“I think video content is an integral part of any business today — and I’d love to be part of making KaarbonTech a household name.”
