From a system perspective, it’s very intuitive, very simple to use. It’s very visually pleasing. Everything’s nicely laid out and labelled.
One of the big things that we’ve seen is we’re now surfacing data on our gully network system in a way that’s never been done before. And that’s purely off the usability of the platform itself — having the scope and capacity to extract that information and surface it to our wider and senior leadership team.
We’re now in a position where we have such a high level of confidence in the quality of the information that’s coming out that we’re starting to surface that information to our client as well.
We tend not to need too much support because of the ease of use that the platform offers. However, should we ever need to contact either through your help desk or through our key account manager, it’s always very easy to achieve.
Some of the problems we had before KaarbonTech were with the quality of data. From my point of view, the data wasn’t accurate enough. The difference that KaarbonTech solutions have made for us is the quality of the data and being able to get the data really quickly. We’re able to feed back to members of the public when the gully’s been cleaned. I can find that instantly.
The roll‑out and the training was really good — took us, I’ll say, weeks to get it all sorted, maybe even less than that, and then we were using it with our contractor almost immediately.
KaarbonTech solutions have made raising jobs for our gully contractor a lot easier. The process on the app is really simple to use. Obviously, you can imagine during bad weather, we get a lot of drainage problems. I can raise a job on the KaarbonTech app, allocate it to my gully contractor, let them know that there’s an outstanding job for them, and they’ll go react to it. Hopefully, the solution will then be resolved.
KaarbonTech offers a usability and an ease of use that you just don’t really see in other programs. It’s intuitive, it’s easy to surface information, and it’s easy to investigate.
