We are seeking a meticulous, self-driven individual to join our vibrant team as a Solution Researcher, in the Research and Solutions department.
KaarbonTech is a predominantly remote-working data and software company, specialising in managing highway assets for public sector authorities across the UK.
Our expertise in consulting, advocacy, innovative SMART technology, and our efficient and forward-thinking working practices, enables us to significantly enhance our customers’ operational efficacy.
The successful candidate will seamlessly integrate into our dynamic, rapidly evolving team, playing a fundamental role in amplifying our commercial growth.
The role encompasses:
Conducting thorough digital and telephone research to identify opportunities within the public sector, alongside addressing both external and internal research inquiries.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of public sector software systems, contract terms, and the organisational structures of potential and existing customers.
Act as a conduit cross-departmentally and to our customer base ensuring seamless communication, collaboration, and education.
Assist in crafting compelling pitches, research documentation and sales materials based on the extensive research conducted.
Contribute to team strategy by identifying new areas of research within the public sector, industry trends, and asset management.
Generating complex and detailed report documents ready for internal use in the overall business goals and needs.
Requirements:
A team player with a talent for building lasting relationships.
Problem-solving skills coupled with a natural curiosity to explore a multitude of informational avenues to identify opportunities within the public sector.
Strong written and verbal communication skills or similar experience in providing detailed presentations and demoing products.
Proficiency in presenting information effectively in both a verbal and written format.
The ability to manage own workload, timescales and work autonomously.
Experience in working in a remote or hybrid settings.
Eagerness for continuous self-learning and skill development.
A proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience with using customer relationship management (CRM) software and project management tools such as Clickup or similar.
Educated to a degree standard is desirable due to the nature of role, but similar suitable experience in research and report writing is equally advantageous.
Previous experience in assimilating and dissecting complex information alongside digital content, showcasing the necessary skills vital for this position.
Familiarity with the working of or for the public sector, would be highly advantageous.

This role is home-based with the expectation of self-management in prioritising tasks and time. Regular feedback, a strong desire for continuous learning, and occasional travel and visits to our Head Office in Bournemouth (around 6 times per year) are integral to this role
