We're on the lookout for CCTV operators & rig leaders to spearhead the collection of vital information regarding highway drainage assets. Using our state-of-the-art tablet devices in the field, this role involves on-site activities such as:

  • Measuring, photographing, and reporting on the condition of highway drainage, 

  • Conducting CCTV surveys of drainage systems, 

  • Assessing pipe conditions, 

  • Confirming channel connectivity, 

  • Producing high quality reports.

We pride ourselves on quality of work. We are not just looking for someone to put cameras in drains, we are looking for experience and insight on the best ways for our customers to improve their drainage networks, using dig and no dig suggestions.

The role has a high degree of autonomy, planning and regular travel to various work locations across the UK, which will include regularly staying away from home. You should be competent in the operation and maintenance of drainage CCTV equipment, and be able to effectively troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.  Physical fitness is essential for this role, as is your ability to communicate effectively with your team and others within the business

We consider all experience levels but the following desirable qualifications/ skills/experience will give you the edge:

  • Proficiency in using technology, data collection devices and smartphones

  • Current OS19X to MSCC5 standards

  • Possession of LANTRA 12D Traffic Management or NRSWA Streetworks qualification

  • Experience of working on highways

  • Experience of CCTV drainage surveying equipment & reporting (Wincan)

  • Confined space (level CP1 medium risk)

  • Manual handling & first aid at work
