Making the reporting process simpler
The drainage questions ask authorities to demonstrate more than whether drainage assets are maintained. They also look at how information is managed, how evidence supports decision-making and how digital approaches are helping authorities understand and prioritise their networks.
Much of that information already exists.
Asset inventories, inspection history, maintenance records, known flooding locations and risk information all contribute towards building a complete picture. The challenge is often bringing that evidence together efficiently and presenting it with confidence.
