KaarbonTech has been shortlisted for an industry award recognising the Best Use of Geospatial for Business Benefit.
The Association for Geographic Information Awards celebrate and recognise excellence and foster a spirit of innovation within the location-based technology and data industry.
The project for which KaarbonTech has been shortlisted utilises a combination of Ordnance Survey data, Android technology and GNSS hardware provided by Leica Geosystems to fulfil a desire for more accessible and simplified geospatial data collection. The Leica Zeno 20 is the first android device to collect survey data to less than 5cm accuracy. This combined with the ability to wirelessly download Ordnance Survey topographical mapping adds further flexibility to the solution.
The winner from each category will be announced and presented at the Annual Awards Ceremony on the 25th November 2015 at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth.
